| Push new users |
- You can create new users in Netwrix 1Secure when you assign the app to users in Okta.
- The username and email are required to identify the user account. The first name, last name, and phone number are optional.
- Netwrix 1Secure uses the username to identify the user. If you change it, Netwrix 1Secure deletes the existing user and creates a new one.
- Netwrix 1Secure automatically assigns new users to a default department. You can't map or change department assignment from Okta, because the integration can't read or select departments.
|
| Push profile updates |
- You can update user profile attributes in Netwrix 1Secure when you modify them in Okta.
- You can update the first name, last name, and phone number.
|
| Push user deactivation |
- When you deactivate a user or remove their access to the app in Okta, Okta deactivates the user in Netwrix 1Secure.
- The integration calls the delete-user endpoint, and Netwrix 1Secure soft deletes the account. The account is deactivated rather than permanently erased.
- You can reactivate a deactivated account only through the SCIM API by using the user ID. You can't reactivate it from the Netwrix 1Secure console.
- Okta matches users by username, and Okta can no longer find a deactivated account by username. If you reactivate the user in Okta, Netwrix 1Secure creates a new account instead of restoring the original.
|
| Import new users |
- Okta imports active user accounts from Netwrix 1Secure.
|
| Push groups |
- You can push groups and their members to Netwrix 1Secure. See Manage Group Push.
- The group name must be unique across all groups in Netwrix 1Secure. Netwrix 1Secure matches group names without regard to case.
- Changes to the group name in Okta are pushed to Netwrix 1Secure. Netwrix 1Secure doesn't support the group description because its groups have no description field.
- If you delete a group in Netwrix 1Secure, Netwrix 1Secure removes the group and its memberships. The member users remain active.
