Workato supported features

Users created in Okta are sent an invite to access Workato as a collaborator.

Here are some important things to note:

• Assign a role or a privilege when you create a user.
• Username and email ID must be unique to create a user.

Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to Workato.

Here are some important things to note:

• Don't use this feature to update a username. If you do, it triggers a conflict and you must unassign and reassign the user using the original username.

• You can only update a user's role.

• You can only update users who have accepted the invite.

• When a user has entitlements assigned in multiple government orgs, an update to the user profile in any government org that excludes these entitlements override existing settings across all instances.

Users deactivated in Okta are also deactivated in Workato.

Here are some important things to note:

• You can only deactivate users in Okta who have accepted the invite. To deactivate users who haven't yet accepted an invite, use Workato.

• A Workato user account (email) can belong to multiple workspaces. Deactivating a user in one workspace only removes their access to that specific workspace; it doesn't affect their global Workato account.

• If a user is repeatedly created and deleted, the API may return a 429 Too Many Requests response based on your organization's licensing limits.

You can manage app entitlements for Workato in Okta.

If the app supports Okta Identity Governance, then you need to enable it to manage entitlements.
