Confirm Oracle Demantra app attributes

Attributes are used to pass information from Access Gateway to the back-end, protected web resource using header fields. Oracle Demantra apps require the OAM_REMOTE_USER attribute but can take advantage of other attributes.
In this task you confirm the required attributes and add any additional attributes.

The Attributes pane provides a list of attributes that are passed into the app as header fields. Confirm that the attributes match those required by Oracle BI Enterprise Edition.

Add an attribute

  1. Click the (+) icon
  2. Select a Data Source from the dropdown list.
  3. Select a Field.
  4. Make the attribute type either a Header or a Cookie from the Type dropdown list.
  5. Enter a Name for the attribute, based on the value expected by the legacy app.
  6. Click Okay.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Click Done.

Edit an attribute

  1. Select the attribute that you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit () icon.
  3. Change the name or other values.
  4. Click Okay.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Done.

Delete an attribute

  1. Select the attribute that you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete () icon.
  3. Change the name or other values.
  4. Click Okay.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Done.
