Certificate management

Perform the following tasks when you assign certificates to apps:

Task	Description
Obtain certificates	You can obtain certificates from a Certificate Authority (CA) (for example, digicert) or generated using a tool (for example, openssl). Okta doesn't endorse any specific certificate provider.
Upload certificates	Upload certificates to Access Gateway for use with applications.
Associate certificates Associate a default host certificate using the Access Gateway Admin UI console	Associate a certificate with an application, or associate a default host certificate with Access Gateway using the Admin UI console. Self-signed certificates can be generated and associated with applications without the need to be uploaded.
