Enable AI

The Governance AI settings control your org's ability to use AI / ML features for governance.

Before you begin

  • You must be a super admin.

  • If you want to provide access recommendations to campaign reviewers, ensure that Governance analyzer is enabled for your org.

Start this task

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Identity GovernanceSettingsGovernance AI.

  2. In the Security Access Review AI summary section, toggle the Enable users to generate AI summaries setting as needed. This setting provides the reviewer with the contextual information needed to assess the overall level of anomalous access the user has. This setting is enabled by default.

When you disable this setting, you and reviewers can no longer generate any AI summaries. The remainder of the security access review features still work. Additionally, the AI summary previously generated for resources in closed reviews is unavailable to admins and reviewers.

  3. In the Governance Analyzer section, toggle the Enable Governance Analyzer recommendations as needed. This setting allows Governance Analyzer to generate access recommendations based on the access management data available for your org. This setting is enabled by default.

When you disable this setting, Governance Analyzer recommendations aren't generated. All previously generated recommendations are unavailable. The Governance Analyzer insights still work.

Turning on this setting doesn't make recommendations visible to reviewers. To provide Governance Analyzer recommendations to reviewers, you must turn on the Recommendations option as well before the campaign launches. See Show insights and recommendations to reviewers.
