Enable or disable import safeguards

App-level and org-level safeguards are enabled by default and set at 20 percent. When enabled, an import safeguard defines the maximum percentage of app users in an org that can be unassigned while allowing the import to proceed.

1. In the Admin Console, click Applications > Applications.
2. In the Search field, enter the name of the application.
3. Select the application and click the Provisioning tab.
4. Select To Okta in the Settings list.
5. Scroll down to the Import Safeguard section and click Edit.

6. Optional.

   In the App unassignment safeguard drop-down menu, select Disabled or Enabled.

7. Optional.

   In the Org-wide unassignment safeguard drop-down menu, select Disabled or Enabled.

8. Optional.

   In the Entitlement unassignment safeguard section:

   1. Select Enabled or Disabled.

   2. Choose either Percentage threshold or Absolute count threshold.

9. Optional.

   Select the checkbox for Prevent changes to the entitlement schema to block imports that modify entitlement types.
10. Click Save.
