Allow end-users to quickly access apps

You can help end usersIn Okta literature, we generally refer to "end users" as the people who have their own Okta home page (My Applications), using chiclets to authenticate into all of their apps. End users do not have any administrative control. When we refer to "users" we are generally referring to the individual(s) who have administrative control. quickly find the apps they recently used by enabling the Quick Access section on the end user dashboard and the Quick Access tab in the Okta Browser Plugin.

Enable Quick Access on the end user dashboard

This is an Early AccessEarly Access (EA) features are opt-in features that you can try out in your org by asking Okta Support to enable them. Additionally, the Features page in the Okta Admin Console (Settings > Features) allows Super Admins to enable and disable some EA features themselves. feature. To enable it, use the Early Access Feature Manager as described in Manage Early Access and Beta features .

End users can find recently used apps in the Quick Access section on their dashboard. This section displays up to 6 apps that the end user has recently accessed. The Quick Access section appears only when the end user has 13 or more apps on their dashboard.

 

Enable Quick Access on the Okta Browser Plugin

This is an Early Access feature. To enable it, use the Early Access Feature Manager as described in Manage Early Access and Beta features .

End-users can find recently used apps in the Quick Access tab in the Okta Browser Plugin. To enable this, you first need to turn on the Quick Access section for the end user dashboard and enable real-time refresh feature for the Okta Browser Plugin.
