Enable the Directories Debugger

The Directories Debugger collects diagnostic data from Okta AD and LDAP agents. If you enable the Directories Debugger and give Okta Support access, they can use the data to troubleshoot agent issues. You can then disable access when it's no longer required.
Access is granted for 8 hours by default, but you can extend it in 24-hour increments to a maximum of 14 days.

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Settings > Account.
  2. In the Give Directory Debugger Access to Okta Support section, click Edit.
  3. In the Directory Debugger access drop-down list, select Enabled.
  4. Click Save.

  5. Optional. Extend the Directory Debugger access period:

    1. Click Edit.
    2. Select Extend Directory Debugger access.
    3. Optional. Repeat step b to extend the access period.

    4. Click Save.

  6. Optional: Disable access:

    1. Click Edit.

    2. In the Directory Debugger access drop-down list, select Disabled.

    3. Click Save.
