Configure Face ID or passcode confirmation in Okta Verify on iOS devices

In some organizations, you have to set up Face ID or your device passcode in Okta Verify. You use these methods to authenticate.

If you don’t enable Face ID or passcode confirmation during the Okta Verify account setup, you might be prompted to do so later.

  1. Open Okta Verify and tap your account.
  2. On the Account Details page, go to the Options section and click the toggle to turn Face ID or Passcode Confirmation on or off.

If Face ID or passcode confirmation is mandatory in your organization, you can’t disable this verification option.

If you change the Face ID or passcode settings on your device, you go out of sync with the Okta Verify settings. You might be prompted to update Face ID or passcode confirmation.
