Reset Okta Verify on macOS
In rare circumstances, the Okta Verify app can fail to load properly. This might be a result of issues such as data loss or file system corruption on your local device.
If you see the Couldn't load Okta Verify dialog, you have several options to address the issue:

Quit Okta Verify: Quits the app so you can try to launch it again manually.

Report issue: Report the issue to Okta through the built-in reporting system.

Manually restart your device.

Reach out to your IT admin or help desk for assistance.

Reset Okta Verify...: Selecting this option deletes all existing Okta Verify accounts on the device and resets the app to a clean state.
To confirm this action and delete any existing Okta Verify accounts on your device, click Reset Okta Verify on the subsequent dialog.
After you reset the app, you must re-enroll your Okta Verify accounts. See Manage Okta Verify accounts on macOS devices.
Your Okta admin may also need to reset your enrollment in Okta Verify.
