Run a flow from ISPM
Limited Early Access release
Take custom actions using a delegated flow directly from the ISPM console in response to the issues that ISPM detected for your org.
Currently, only on-demand remediation using workflows is supported. Automated triggers aren't available yet.
Before you begin
-
Sign in to the ISPM console as a user who has both View delegated flow and Run delegated flow permissions for the required delegated flows.
-
Ensure that you have the following setup:
-
Okta ISPM - SSO OIDC app is configured for the Okta org. This allows ISPM to connect to Okta Workflows for the org. See Configure Single Sign-On for Okta.
-
The same Okta org (that you used for SSO) is set up as a connected source in ISPM. If it isn't, complete the steps in Okta integration.
-
All delegated flows have been tested in a non-production or sandbox environment before you run them in a production environment.
-
-
Check that the Workflow connector instance used in the delegated flow you want to run is the same as the connected source instance in the ISPM for which you want to take a remediation action for.
Start this task
-
In the ISPM console, go to Issues.
-
Select the issue you want to remediate.
-
Click Remediate and then Select Workflow.
-
Check that the required flows are available. If not, sign out from the ISPM console and sign in again or make sure you meet the requirements listed in Before you begin section.
-
Click Run. You can check the workflow status and execution details directly in Okta Workflows.
Once the workflow runs and resolves the issue in Okta, ISPM reflects the change within 24 hours.
