Deploy Access Gateway for development environments
This guide describes how to deploy and configure Access Gateway to a virtual environment for use in a development environment.
You need a basic knowledge of networks and firewalls to complete these tasks.

Install a virtualization environment. This guide uses Oracle VirtualBox for instructional purposes. See Manage Access Gateway deployment for list of all virtual environments that Access Gateway supports and instructions to deploy to each. |
Deploy the Access Gateway OVA file to Oracle VirtualBox | Deploy Access Gateway to a virtual environment. |
Reset Access Gateway and verify its configuration | Initialize Access Gateway after its first boot. |
Set the Access Gateway instance IP address | Optional. Some installations require Access Gateway to use a fixed, known IP address. |
Determine the Access Gateway IP Address |
Add the required DNS entries for Access Gateway to the local hosts file. If IP addresses aren't static, use the Access Gateway Management console to determine the addresses assigned by DHCP. |
