Troubleshoot Slack integrations

Use the information provided here to help you resolve common Slack integration issues.

  • Make sure that your Slack organization has a Plus Plan subscription.
  • Special characters in the user name are not supported by the Slack API. For example: "+" char, as in john+doe@email.com). Check and remove these characters.

If you have previously integrated Slack with Okta, are using group push enhancements, and updates are not appearing in Slack, select Push Now in the Okta Admin Console. This synchronizes groups from Okta to Slack and removes users assigned to a group in Slack but not in Okta.
