View device lifecycle state

You can view the lifecycle state of a device on the [device_name] page. The page name reflects the device name, so this procedure references the page name as [device_name].

There are two ways to navigate to a [device_name] page:

• From the Devices page:

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Directory > Devices.

  2. In the Device info column, click a device name.

• From the People page:

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Directory > People.

  2. In the Person & username column, click a user's name.

  3. Click the Devices tab.

  4. In the Device name column, click a device name.

The current device state is at the top of page, located below the device state buttons.

State	Description
Active	An Active device can be: Suspended Deactivated From an Active device, a user can access protected resources if permitted by the App Sign On policies applied to the resources.
Suspended	A Suspended device can be: Unsuspended, which returns it to an Active state. Deactivated
Deactivated	A Deactivated device can be: Activated Deleted by clicking the Trash icon
