Integrate Elastic Search with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Elastic Search app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have an Elastic Search account hosted on elastic Cloud.
  • You have an Elastic Search API key to connect to the Elastic Search API.
  • You have an Elastic Search base domain (endpoint URL).
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.
  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Elastic Search, and then click Add Integration.
  4. On the General Settings tab, enter an app label and the base domain.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Select the Provisioning tab.
  7. Click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  8. Select the Enable API Integration checkbox.
  9. Enter your API Key.
  10. Click Test API Credentials.
  11. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  12. Select To App under Settings.
  13. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  14. Click Save.
