Oracle Human Capital Management supported features

This table lists the features and functionality that are available with an Oracle Human Capital Management integration.

A Last name value is required to create or update a user in Oracle Human Capital Management. If you don't provide this value, the API assigns the username to the Last name property.

Feature Description

Push new users

Users created in Okta are also created in Oracle Human Capital Management. Note that you don't need to assign a role to users when you create them.

Push user deactivation

Deactivating a user or disabling app access in Okta removes the user account in Oracle Human Capital Management. When a user is suspended, their data is removed and they can't access the app.

Push profile updates

Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to Oracle Human Capital Management.

Here are some important things to note:

  • You can't use this feature to update usernames.

  • Users can have more then one assigned role.

  • If the update fails, wait a few minutes and then retry.

Push password updates

Updates to the user's Okta password are pushed to Oracle Human Capital Management.
Import new users Users created in Oracle Human Capital Management can be imported into Okta.

Import profile updates

Updates made to a user's profile in Oracle Human Capital Management are downloaded and applied to the profile fields in Okta.

Import user schema

Imports additional user attributes from Oracle Human Capital Management. This is also known as schema discovery.

Reactivate Users

Reactivating or enabling the user in Okta reactivates the user in Oracle Human Capital Management.

Entitlement Management

App entitlements for Oracle Human Capital Management can be managed in Okta.
