This table lists the features and functionality available with a Trend Micro integration.

Feature Description

Push new users

Users created in Okta are also created in Trend Micro.

Here are some important things to note:

  • To verify your domain, add the DNS record from Trend Micro to your domain's DNS settings. Once Trend Micro detects the DNS record, the domain is confirmed and you can manage or delete accounts under that domain.
  • When you assign a user in Okta, role, auth type and email values are required.
  • The role must include the Create permission in Accounts (IAM).

Push profile updates

Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to Trend Micro.

Here are some important things to note:

  • You can't use this feature to update usernames.

  • Users can't have more than one assigned role.

  • You can create a user by updating the username and email.

  • The role of the selected scope must have Edit Permission enabled.

Import new users Users created in Trend Micro can be imported into Okta.

Import profile updates

Updates made to a user's profile in Trend Micro are downloaded and applied to the profile fields in Okta.

Import user schema

Imports more user attributes from Trend Micro. This is also known as schema discovery.

Entitlement Management

You can manage app entitlements for Trend Micro in Okta. If the app supports Okta Identity Governance, then you need to enable it to manage entitlements.
