Test a customized email template
You can test a customized email template by sending it to your primary email address. This enables you to validate macro attributes and translations, and view how the template renders in different email environments.
You can only send customized test emails if you've configured a custom email domain. If you don't have a custom email domain, test emails use the Okta default template and are sent from the Okta email domain.
Free trial editions of Okta can't create or send customized email templates.

In the Admin Console, go to .
- Select a brand.
- Click Emails.
- Choose an email template that you've customized.
- Click Send test.
- Check your primary email address for the test message.
