HashiCorp Cloud Platform supported features

This table lists the features and functionality that are available with HashiCorp Cloud Platform integration.

Feature Description

Push groups

You can push groups and members to integrated apps. See Manage Group Push. For the Imported groups from HashiCorp, you can only add or remove the Description and the group members.

When you create and manage groups, consider the following properties and constraints:

  • Group names must be unique across the org.
  • Groups are created and managed at the org level.
  • You can update both the Display Name and the Description of a group.
  • Special characters aren't permitted when creating a group.
  • A user can be a member of multiple HashiCorp Cloud platform groups.
  • Role management isn't available for all groups.

Push profile updates

Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to HashiCorp Cloud Platform.

When you edit a user profile, be aware of the following limitations:

  • You can't update the Username, First Name, and Last Name.

  • You can update the user roles under the Entitlements access.

  • You can't change the user role to owner.

Import new users

Accounts from HashiCorp Cloud Platform are imported into Okta.

Import user schema

You can download the user schema in the HashiCorp Cloud Platform into Okta. Only mandatory fields are available.

Entitlement Management

Use Okta's Entitlement Management to assign, update, or remove user roles for HashiCorp Cloud Platform app entitlements.
