Allow requesters to escalate tasks
Allow or block requesters from escalating tasks for their access requests from the Settings page. Access requests tasks include questions, approvals, actions, and custom tasks.
Escalated tasks are automatically assigned to the original task assignee's manager. The changes that you make on the Settings page are applicable to all users in your org.

In the Admin Console, go to .

On the Escalations tab, enable the Allow requesters to escalate tasks toggle.
When this setting is enabled, requesters can escalate tasks within their access requests from the Okta Access Requests web app.
If this setting is disabled, requesters can't escalate tasks within their access requests. Request assignees and access request admins can always escalate tasks within access requests.
