Configure Boomi for AI agent imports

To import AI agents from Boomi, you need to perform configuration tasks in your Boomi account.

About this task

Configuring Boomi for AI agent imports requires setup in your Boomi account. In Boomi, you find your account ID, generate a Platform API token, and then note the region that hosts your account. Okta uses the token to authenticate requests to the Boomi Agent Garden API.

Before you begin

  • You have a Boomi user with the Agent Garden - Administrator role or the default Administrator role.
  • You have the permission to manage apps in Okta.
  • You have integrated the Boomi app in your org. See Add app integrations.

Procedure

  • Find your Boomi account ID
    1. Sign in to the Boomi platform as the user that Okta uses to import AI agents.
    2. Select your account name in the upper-right corner, and then select Settings.
    3. Go to Account > Account Information.
    4. Copy the Account ID value.
  • Generate a Platform API token in Boomi
    1. Go to My User Settings > Platform API Tokens.
    2. Select Add New Token.
    3. In Name, enter a recognizable name (for example, okta-ai-agent-import), and then select Generate Token.
    4. Select Copy To Clipboard & Close and store the token in a secure location.
  • Find your Boomi region
    1. Note the region that hosts your Boomi account.
If your Boomi base URL is platform.boomi.com, select United States when you configure the import in Okta. If it's platform.gb.boomi.com, select United Kingdom.
    2. Record the user email address, API token, account ID, and region.
You need these values when you configure the AI agent import. Okta adds the BOOMI_TOKEN prefix to the email address when it authenticates to Boomi.
