To import AI agents from Relevance AI, you need to perform configuration tasks in your Relevance AI projects.
About this task
Configuring Relevance AI for AI agent imports requires setup in each Relevance AI project that you want to import from. In Relevance AI, you generate an API key for the project, and then find the project ID and region ID. Okta uses the API key to authenticate requests to Relevance AI. The import only reads projects and agents, so the key doesn't need write, deployment, or execution access.
Procedure
Generate an API key in Relevance AI-
Sign in to Relevance AI.
-
In the Project dropdown menu that's next to your organization profile, select the project that you want to import agents from.
Okta only imports AI agents from the projects that you add.
-
In the left-hand menu, select Integrations & API Keys.
-
Select Relevance API Keys, and then select Create new secret key.
Relevance AI creates the key for the project that is currently selected.
-
Enter a descriptive name for the key (for example,
okta-ai-agent-import).
-
In Permissions, leave Default selected.
The import only reads projects and agents, so it doesn't need additional permissions.
-
Select Generate API key.
-
Copy the API key, project ID, and region ID, and store them in a secure location.
The region ID is the code in your API host name. For example, in
https://api-f1db6c.stack.tryrelevance.com, the region ID is
f1db6c.
- Optional:
To import AI agents from more than one project, select the next project in the Project dropdown list and repeat the steps in this task.
Each project needs its own API key.
-
Record the API key, project ID, and region ID for each project.
You need these values when you configure the AI agent import in Okta.
