Configure resource server connectors
Configure an app's resource server connector so you can create a managed connection between the app and an AI agent. To see a list of apps that have configurable resource server connectors, select the Brokered Consent filter in the App Integration Catalog.
Before you begin
- You have the super admin role.
- You've registered a client app with the third party app provider. See Prerequisites for common resource server connectors.
- You've integrated the app in your org. See Add existing app integrations.
Start this task
-
In the Admin Console, go to .
- Search for and select an app that has a resource server connector.
- Go to the Resource server tab.
- Enter the Client ID and Client secret for the client app that you registered with the resource server connector. If the client app supports scopes, the Scopes field appears.
If the client app doesn't support scopes, the resource server connector inherits the client's permissions. You can't view or edit the scopes in Okta. If a resource server has more than 500 scopes, you can't view or edit them from the Resource server tab.
- Click Add and enter the scope name. To remove a scope, click the delete icon.
- Repeat this step for each scope that you want to add.
- Click Save.
- Optional. Use the Remove and Edit buttons to delete and modify your client credentials.
If you modify the scopes for a resource server connector that's linked to an AI agent, users in an active session with that AI agent must reauthenticate and accept consent before the AI agent can perform a subsequent action on their behalf.
