Ivanti supported features

The following features and functionality are available with an Ivanti integration.

Feature Description
Push new users
  • When you create a new user in Okta, Okta creates the user in Ivanti as a local account.
  • The email and username fields are required.
  • New users receive an email that they can use to reset their password.
Push profile updates
  • Updates that you make to a user in Okta are pushed to the user's active Ivanti account.
  • You can update the First Name and Last Name fields. You can't update the username or email fields.
Push user deactivation

Deactivating a user in Okta disables their account in Ivanti.

Import new users

Okta only imports active user accounts from Ivanti.

Reactivate users

Reactivating a user in Okta re-enables their Ivanti account.

Import user schema
  • Okta downloads the Ivanti user schema, including custom attributes.
  • Only standard and mandatory user attributes are exposed.
Push groups
  • You can push groups and their members to Ivanti. See Manage Group Push.
  • Okta creates groups in Ivanti as local static groups.
  • You can add and remove group members.
  • You can't manage group roles from Okta.
Import profile updates
  • Okta downloads updates that are made to a user's profile in Ivanti and applies them to the profile fields stored in Okta.
  • Mapping users between systems keeps user data consistent across Ivanti and Okta.
