Configure Okta as a corporate identity provider in SAP IAS

Register Okta as a corporate identity provider (IdP) in your SAP IAS Admin Console.

1. Sign in to the SAP IAS Admin Console.
2. In the left navigation, go to Identity Providers > Corporate Identity Providers and click Create.
3. Configure the new IdP:
   • Display Name: Enter a name (for example, Okta-OIDC-Directory).
   • Identity Provider Type: Select OpenID Connect.
   • Copy Configuration: Select Don't Copy.
4. Click Save.
5. Select your newly created IdP and click OpenID Connect Configuration.
6. In the Provider Configuration field, paste the Discovery Endpoint URL that you copied from Okta and click Load to automatically fetch the endpoints.
7. In the Client Authentication section, enter the Client ID and Client Secret from Okta.
8. Click Validate to verify the connection.
9. Copy the OIDC Callback URL shown on this screen, then click Save.
