Sourcegraph supported features

The following features and functionality are available with a Sourcegraph integration.

Feature Description
Push new users
  • New verified users created in Okta are also created in Sourcegraph.
  • The integration supports custom username formatting that you configure on the Authentication tab (email prefix). See Username normalization in the Sourcegraph documentation for valid username formats.
Push profile updates
  • Profile updates that you make in Okta are pushed to Sourcegraph.
  • You can only update the Email field in Okta. Updating the Username field deactivates the current user and creates a user with the updated username.
Push user deactivation You can deactivate and activate users. Deactivating a user or removing their access to the app in Okta soft-deletes the account in Sourcegraph.
Import new users Users from Sourcegraph are imported into Okta.
