New configuration option for Okta Verify user verification

Admins can now configure user verification enrollment through a client setting when deploying Okta Verify for Windows. This provides greater flexibility by allowing client-level settings to take precedence over org-wide configurations. See UserVerificationEnrollment.

Customizable osquery timeout for device assurance

Admins can now adjust the osquery timeout value to prevent the early termination of osquery actions. See Configure advanced posture checks for device assurance.

Reset Okta Verify on Windows

Users can now reset Okta Verify on Windows if the app fails to load. This option deletes all Okta Verify accounts on the device and restores the app to a clean state. See Reset Okta Verify on Windows.

Fixes

• Users in an MFA exception group experienced password change failures when their password was expired and the org had password autofill enabled. (OKTA-1043025)

• Okta Verify sometimes failed for several minutes after system startup if the network was still initializing or if a user switched networks or connected to a VPN. (OKTA-1118203)

• This release also includes internal fixes and minor usability improvements.
