When you add a Zscaler card to a flow for the first time, Okta Workflows prompts you to configure the connection. This connection links to your Zscaler account and saves your account information, so you can reuse the connection for future Zscaler flows.
You can create multiple unique connections and manage them from the Connections page in the Okta Workflows Console.
Before you begin
The Zscaler connector requires an account that has access to the ZIdentity Administration Portal.
Complete these steps to create a Zscaler API client on the ZIdentity Administration Portal:
- Open you Zscaler portal (such as https://Your_Zscaler_Cloud_Name/portal).
- Sign in using your Zscaler authentication credentials.
- Enter the temporary verification code from your TOTP Authenticator app.
- Go to Integration.
- In the API Clients section, click Add API Client. A dialog appears.
- On the Client tab, complete the following:
- Enter your API Name and Description.
- Set the Status to Active.
- Enter an Access Token Lifetime (in minutes).
- In the Client Authentication section, click Secret, and then click Add.
- A table is created with your Secret and its expiration. Copy the Secret in a safe space for future use. Modify the expiration as needed.
- In the Resources tab, from the Scopes section, click ZIAM and select an admin role with users management access.
- Click Save.
- Refresh the page and check your API client name in the table and copy the Client ID to a safe space for future use.
