Add Send-As Alias

Create the From send-as alias for an account in Gmail.

To use this action card, you must first set up a Google Cloud project and a service account. See Authorize an account for transfer of ownership.

Alias Type

Alias for the account. Choose one of the following options:

Custom: The alias is created in another domain. This allows users to send mail through an external SMTP server when configuring a From address hosted outside your email domain.

After creating an alias for an account in another domain, sign into the account, open the confirmation message from Gmail, and click the link to verify the alias.

Note:

To use the SMTP fields when using domains other than the primary domain, make sure that you select the Allow per-user outbound gateways checkbox in your Gmail settings.
