Authorization
When you add a SAP Analytics Cloud card to a flow for the first time, Okta Workflows it prompts you to configure the connection. This connection links to your Okta Workflows account and saves your account information, so you can reuse the connection for future SAP Analytics Cloud flows.
You can create multiple unique connections and manage them from the Connections page in the Okta Workflows Console.
Before you begin
The SAP Analytics Cloud connector requires an account that has access to SAP Analytics Cloud tenant.
To create an SAP Analytics Cloud API Client on SAP Analytics Cloud tenant, complete the following steps :
- Sign in to SAP Analytics Cloud.
- In the left navigation pane, go to .
- In the Configured Clients section, select Add an OAuth Client.
- In the Purpose dropdown list, select API Access.
- In the Access dropdown list, select at least one API option. For example: User Provisioning for managing users in the system.
- In the Authorization Grant dropdown list, select Client Credentials.
- In the Token Lifetime section, enter the token details.
- Click Add. OAuth Client ID and Secret are generated.
You don't need to request scopes in the authentication blob.
Procedure
To create a SAP Analytics Cloud connection in Okta Workflows, complete the following steps:
- Open the Connections tab in the Workflows console or open a SAP Analytics Cloud card.
- Click New Connection.
- Enter a connection Name. This is useful if you plan to create multiple connections to share with your team. For example, you can write SAP Analytics Cloud followed by the date it was created in the name field.
- Optional. Enter a connection Description. It's useful to have more information about your connection.
- In the Client ID field, enter the client ID from your created app.
- In the Client Secret field, enter the client secret from your created app.

In the Token Domain field, enter the token domain from your SAP Analytics Cloud tenant without the https:// prefix.

Tenant Domain field, enter the tenant domain from your SAP Analytics Cloud tenant without the https:// prefix.

- Click Create.
