Generate core flows from an OpenAPI spec

Generate the foundational flows for your integration project from an imported OpenAPI spec.

Before you begin

  • You're signed in to an Okta Integrator Free Plan org as a super admin or Workflows admin.
  • You have imported a valid OpenAPI 3.0+ spec file in JSON or YAML format.

Start this task

  1. In your Integration Builder project folder, go to the API spec tab.
  2. In the Core flows section, click Generate flow next to each flow that you want to create. You must generate the httpHelper flow before generating other flows.
  3. Select the connector and endpoints that you want for the flow and click Generate flow.

The httpHelper flow generated from an OpenAPI spec import is stored in your project's Shared Folder. Other flows are stored in the connector folder. All flows are turned off by default.
