Typical workflow for silently provisioning Dropbox Business
This table lists Dropbox Business silent provisioning workflow activities and provides descriptions for each activity.
|Silent Provisioning is enabled||
The Okta Administrator selects Silent Provisioning when they add the Dropbox Business app to Okta. When silent provisioning is enabled, users are silently provisioned to Dropbox Business and welcome emails are not sent to new Okta provisioned users. To activate their accounts, new users can visit https://www.dropbox.com/sso or they can click the Dropbox Business app icon on the Okta End-User Dashboard.
Existing personal Basic or Pro Dropbox Business users on the corporate domain are identified. Users identification is enabled on the Dropbox Business admin dashboard. See Domain verification and invite enforcement and Domain insights and account capture.
|Account Activation||After status verification, users who do not currently exist in Dropbox Business are directed to https://www.dropbox.com/sso to sign on and activate their accounts. As these users are not already on Dropbox Business and they have not been sent activation invitations by email, you need to provide sign on URL or instruct them to click the Dropbox Business application on the Okta app dashboard.|
