Add an app instance of an Okta Integration Wizard app integration

Create an app instance for an app integration that was created using the Okta Integration Wizard.

Before you begin

  • Sign in to the Admin Console as an app admin.
  • Confirm that you've deployed the app integration at least once before you use it to add an app instance.
  • If you've kept a record of app integration updates and deployments, check the records to learn which capabilities will be available for the app instance when you add it.
  • You can create a maximum of 1000 app instances for each app integration.

Procedure

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse app catalog.
  3. Select Private apps from the list of use cases.
  4. Find and select the app integration you need.
  5. Click Add Integration.
  6. Follow the prompts in the UI to configure the app instance before adding it.

What to do next

After you integrate an app, it appears on the Applications page. If the app integration is an API service, it appears on the Applications > API Service Integrations page. You can customize the app from its profile page.
