Force a checkin

Security admins can perform a force checkin of a resource that's checked out during critical situations, such as responding to a security threat. Also, the system forces a check in for all checked out accounts that have exceeded the maximum checkout window or if the user loses access to the checked out resource.

  1. Open the Okta Privileged Access Admin Dashboard.

  2. Click Resource Management.

  3. Select the resource group that contains the project you want to configure.

  4. Go to the Local Accounts tab.

  5. Select an account, and then click Force checkin.

  6. Click Force checkin to confirm.
