Configure IdP for MuleSoft Platform

Configure Okta as IdP for MuleSoft Platform using manual registration.

  1. Sign in to the MuleSoft Platform as an admin.
  2. Click the Settings icon and select Access Management.
  3. From the Access Management menu, click Identity Providers.
  4. Click Identity Management and select OpenID Connect.
  5. On the External Identity-OpenID ConnectClient Registration URL form, click Use manual registration.
  6. Enter the credentials obtained from the Okta Admin Console into the following fields:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
  7. Enter the values that you obtained from the OpenID Provider metadata URL into the following fields:
    • Authorize URL
    • Token URL
    • User Info URL
    • OpenID Connect issuer
  8. Click Save.
  9. Under the Identity ProvidersIdentity Provider Name Configuration tab, find the Client registration URL (redirect URI).
  10. Copy the Client Registration URL (Redirect URI). You need this to finalize the configuration in the Okta Admin Console.
