SAP Analytics Cloud supported features

This table lists the features and functionality that are available with an SAP Analytics Cloud integration.

Feature Description
Push new users Users created in Okta are also created in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Here are some important things to note:

  • You don't need to assign a role when you create a user.
  • You can assign multiple roles to a user. Note that some roles are exclusive to certain environments and might not be available in your tenant.
Push profile updates Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to SAP Analytics Cloud.
Push user deactivation Users deactivated in Okta are also deactivated in SAP Analytics Cloud. Also, the user's sessions are terminated and their access tokens revoked.
Import new users Users created in SAP Analytics Cloud can be imported into Okta.
Import profile updates Updates made to a user's profile in SAP Analytics Cloud are downloaded and applied to the profile fields in Okta.

Import user schema

Imports more user attributes from SAP Analytics Cloud. This is also known as schema discovery.
Reactivate users Users reactivated in Okta are also reactivated in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Push groups Groups and their members can be pushed to integrated apps. See Manage Group Push.

Here are some important things to note:

  • You can use this feature to update the group description but not the group name.

  • Group names can't include spaces or special characters. If a group in Okta includes these characters, you can clone the group so it supports SAP's character requirements. Alternatively, you can rename the group in Okta, and then uncheck Rename Group in SAP.

Entitlement Management You can manage app entitlements for SAP Analytics Cloud in Okta. If the app supports Okta Identity Governance, then you need to enable it to manage entitlements.
