Integrate Cryptr with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Cryptr app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have a Cryptr account with access to the dashboard and permission to manage orgs and API keys.
  • You have your production Cryptr OAuth 2.0 client credentials. The sandbox API key from Cryptr onboarding doesn't provision users into your live org. See Retrieve your API token in the Cryptr documentation.
  • You have your Cryptr Domain. It appears on the same page as the credentials.
  • You have your Organization Domain. Each org in your Cryptr dashboard has a unique value that appears at the top right when you open that org.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.

Procedure

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications and Resources > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Cryptr, and then click Add Integration.
  4. On the General tab, enter the Application label.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Go to the Provisioning tab, click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  7. Select Enable API Integration.
  8. Enter your Cryptr Domain, for example cryptr.us.
    Enter the domain only. Don't include the protocol (https://).
  9. Enter your Organization Domain, OAuth 2.0 Client ID, and Client Secret.
  10. Click Test API Credentials.
  11. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  12. Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  13. Click Save.
