Integrate JumpCloud with Okta

Configure Okta as the identity provider (IdP) for the JumpCloud app.

Before you begin

You have a JumpCloud and Okta account with administrative privileges.

In the Admin Console, go to ApplicationsApplications.
Click Browse App Catalog.
Search for and select the JumpCloud app, and then click Add Integration.
On the General tab, enter the Application label.
Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning is disabled for this integration. You must manually create and manage users in JumpCloud.
- Select the desired user or group assignments.
- For new users, select Federated Identity Provider as the Password Authority in user details.
Click Save.
After adding the app integration, copy the Client ID and Client secret from the Sign On tab.
In the OpenID Provider Metadata section, copy the Issuer value. This value is typically a domain URL that ends in either okta.com or oktapreview.com.
