Create custom app integrations using Okta Integration Wizard

Use the Okta Integration Wizard (OIW) to create and deploy a private app integration for apps not listed in the Okta Integration Network (OIN) catalog, adding capabilities such as SSO, provisioning, universal logout (Okta Identity Engine only), and entitlement management.

Before you begin

Sign in as an Okta admin with Manage app permissions.
You can't use the OIW for SWA or SPA app types.
Decide which integration capabilities you need before you start. Capability selection determines the Okta Integration Wizard's configuration flow. See Okta Integration Wizard overview.
Gather the technical details you'll need to configure each capability in step 5.
Confirm that you're building in the correct org. App integrations deploy to the current org only.
You can't delete an app integration after you create it, even if you haven't deployed it.

In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
Click Create a new app integration.
Select Okta Integration Wizard and proceed.
Specify the integration capabilities. The available capabilities vary based on your subscription.
Follow the prompts in the UI to configure the available settings:

If you opted to configure a capability using API Integration Actions, after you configure some settings in the wizard, you're redirected to the Integration Builder to build the flows before you return to the wizard to deploy the integration.
If you're configuring a capability using API Integration Actions, see Add an action to an Integration Builder project to add an action and Add provisioning action flows to add a flow in the Integration Builder.
After you add actions and build flows in the Integration Builder, configure the Provisioning API Integration Actions fields.
Review and deploy the integration. Note your app integration configuration and deployment dates.
When prompted, add the app instance to make it available in the app list on the Applications page.

You can access the new app integration from the Private apps section of the OIN catalog in your org.
