Submit requests from the End-User Dashboard

Users can search their eligible apps and submit access requests directly from their End-User Dashboard. The catalog supports fuzzy search, which means that closely matched text is included in the results. Users don't have to know exact names or terms when they're requesting access.

If a user isn't in the requester scope of any apps, consider revoking their Access Requests app assignment. This prevents them from seeing an empty app catalog.

  1. On the End-User Dashboard, click Request Access.

  2. On the catalog page, search by app name or description, or select an app tile.

  3. Search for and select an access level. You can search by the level or by the level description.

  4. If you see the Request access for dropdown menu, indicate whether you're requesting access for yourself or for other eligible users.

  5. Enter the additional information requested, and then click Submit request.

  6. Optional. Refresh the page after a few minutes to get the link to the request.

Request cancellations

Access Requests cancels a request if the user is suspended or deactivated, or if they're removed from the Access Requests web app.

Users can cancel a request if no action's been taken on it.
