Axway Amplify supported features

This table lists the features and functionality that are available with an Axway Amplify integration.

Feature Description
Push new users

Users created in Okta are sent an email invite to activate their Axway Amplify account.

Here are some important things to note:

  • For governance orgs, assign an Organization role when you create a user.
  • To assign Platform or Engage roles, you must first select either Developer or Administrator as the Organization role.
  • For both governance and non-governance orgs, if no role is selected during provisioning, the Developer organization role is assigned by default.
  • Only Email and Roles are synchronized during the initial push. First Name and Last Name aren't supported during the creation process.
Push profile updates Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to Axway Amplify.

It's important to note these rules:

  • Only Organization, Platform, and Engage roles can be updated through Okta.
  • Updates to Username, Email, First Name, or Last Name aren't supported.
  • Changing a username removes the existing Axway Amplify account and creates a new one.
Push user deactivation Users deactivated in Okta are deleted in Axway Amplify.
Import new users You can import users created in Axway Amplify into Okta.
Entitlement Management You can manage app entitlements for Axway Amplify in Okta.

If the app supports Okta Identity Governance, then you need to enable it to manage entitlements.

Push groups You can push groups and their members to integrated apps. See Manage Group Push.

When a user is added to a pushed group, they're assigned the Developer role for that group's access.
