| Push new users |
- Okta creates users in Cryptr as End User accounts.
- Email is required to identify the user account.
- The phone number must include a valid country code.
- Creating a user doesn't issue credentials or send an invitation email. The user can't sign in until Cryptr sets a password or they authenticate through the org Magic Link or SSO connection.
- End users sign in to apps that Cryptr protects. They can't access the Cryptr administration interface, which is reserved for Cryptr Members.
|
| Push profile updates |
- Okta pushes updates to the active Cryptr end user account.
- You can update the first name, last name, and mobile number.
- Cryptr doesn't support email changes. If you change an email address, the integration treats the user as a new user and creates a record.
|
| Push user deactivation |
- When you deactivate a user or remove their access to the app in Okta, Okta deletes the account in Cryptr.
- Cryptr has no reversible deactivate operation. You can't restore the account afterward, and the integration doesn't support reactivating users.
|
| Import new users |
- Okta imports active end user accounts from Cryptr.
- The import is scoped to the single Cryptr org that the Organization Domain on the app instance specifies.
|
| Import profile updates |
- Okta downloads updates that you make to a user's profile in Cryptr. Okta applies them to the first name, last name, username, email, mobile phone, and external ID fields in Okta.
