Integrate Ivanti with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Ivanti app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have an Ivanti Neurons for MDM admin account with admin privileges.
  • You have your Ivanti tenant admin username, which is an email address, and password. Ivanti uses Basic Authentication, so you don't need OAuth 2.0 or OIDC credentials.
  • You have your Ivanti tenant's region prefix, for example eu1, na1, or ap1.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.

Procedure

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Ivanti, and then click Add Integration.
  4. Enter your Application label and Region.
    Enter only the region prefix. Don't include the protocol or full domain. Okta constructs the base URL automatically as https://{region}.mobileiron.com.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Go to the Provisioning tab, click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  7. Select Enable API Integration.
  8. Enter your Admin Username and Password.
  9. Click Test API Credentials.
  10. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  11. Select To App under Settings.
  12. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  13. Click Save.
