Jamf Pro User Enrollment supported features

This table lists the features and functionality that are available with a Jamf Pro User Enrollment integration.

Feature Description
Push new users

Users created in Okta are also created in Jamf Pro User Enrollment.

Here are some important things to note:

  • When assigning a new user in Okta, the inclusion of sites is optional.

  • Username needs to be unique to create a user.

Push profile updates

Updates to the Okta user profile are pushed to Jamf Pro User Enrollment account.

Here are some important things to note:

  • Changing the username results in the creation of a new user profile within the Jamf Pro User Enrollment account.

  • The only user attributes that can be modified are the First name, Last name, Email address, and Phone number.

Push user deactivation Deactivating or disabling a user's access to the app through Okta leads to deletion of their corresponding account in Jamf Pro User Enrollment.
Import new users Users created in Jamf Pro User Enrollment can be imported into Okta. A maximum of 2000 users can be imported into Okta.
Import user schema

User schema in the Jamf Pro can be downloaded into Okta. Only mandatory fields are available.

Push groups

Groups and their members can be pushed to integrated apps. See Manage Group Push.

Here are some important things to note:

  • Only static groups can be imported, smart groups are currently not supported through Okta.
  • When updating a group, only the Display Name can be modified, not the Description.
  • The import group only imports the static groups.
