Integrate Kong AI with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Kong AI app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have a Kong Konnect org with admin privileges. Only an org admin can create system accounts, grant permissions, and issue access tokens.
  • You have a system account access token or a personal access token from Kong Konnect. This integration uses bearer token authentication.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.

Procedure

  1. In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Kong AI, and then click Add Integration.
  4. In General Settings, enter your Application label.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Go to the Provisioning tab, click Integration, and then click Configure API Integration.
  7. Select Enable API Integration.
  8. Enter your Access Token.
  9. Click Test API Credentials.
  10. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  11. Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  12. Click Save.
