Integrate RingCentral with Okta

  1. Add the RingCentral app to Okta if it hasn't been added previously:
    1. In the Admin Console, go to ApplicationsApplications.

    2. Click Browse App Catalog.
    3. Search for and select RingCentral, and then click Add Integration.
    4. Complete the fields on the General Settings page and click Next.
    5. Select a sign on option. If you select SAML 2.0, click View Setup Instructions and follow the instructions.
    6. Click Done.
  2. If you added the RingCentral app previously, on the Okta Admin Console click Applications and select RingCentral in the list of applications.
  3. Click the Provisioning tab, click Configure API Integration, and select Enable API integration.
  4. Optional. Clear the Import Groups checkbox and click Continue in the Disable Import Groups dialog box if you don't want to add RingCentral groups to Okta.
  5. Click Authenticate with RingCentral. The RingCentral Sign In window appears.
  1. Enter your email address or phone number and click Next.
  2. Enter an optional extension, the password, and then click Sign In.
  3. Optional. Edit the Okta to RingCentral provisioning settings:

    1. In the Admin Console, go to ApplicationsApplications.

    2. Search for and select the RingCentral app instance that you want to edit.
    3. Click the Provisioning tab, select To App in the Settings list.
    4. Click Edit in the right pane, edit the settings, and then click Save.
  4. Optional. Edit the RingCentral to Okta provisioning settings:

    1. Select To Okta in the Settings list.
    2. Click Edit in the right pane, edit the settings, and then click Save.
  5. Optional. Assign users to the RingCentral app. See Assign applications to users.
