Integrate Splunk Cloud with Okta

Enable provisioning for your Splunk Cloud instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

You have a Splunk Cloud authentication token. To generate one, sign in to Splunk Cloud as an admin and go to Settings > Tokens > New Token.

You know the Stack (Hostname) of your Splunk Cloud instance. For example, if your Splunk Cloud instance is https://okta.splunkcloud.com, then your Stack (Hostname) is okta.

Note:

The Stack (Hostname) must begin with an alphanumeric character and can only include letters, numbers, and hyphens. For details, see Splunk Cloud documentation.

Start this task

In the Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
Select for and select the Splunk Cloud app integration.
On the General tab, enter the Application label and click Done.
Go to the Provisioning tab, select Integration and click Configure API Integration.
Select Enable API Integration.
Enter your Stack (Hostname) and API Token.
Click Test API Credentials.
After Splunk Cloud is successfully verified, click Save.
Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
Click Save.
