Integrate ThoughtSpot with Okta

Configure Okta as the identity provider (IdP) for the ThoughtSpot app.

Before you begin

You have a ThoughtSpot and Okta account with administrative privileges.

In the Admin Console, go to ApplicationsApplications.
Click Browse App Catalog.
Search for and select the ThoughtSpot app and then click App Integration.
On the General tab, enter the Application label, Cluster URL, Org name.
Select the desired user or group assignments and click Save.

Assigning a group to the app automatically assigns all its members. With Just-in-Time (JIT) enabled, these users are then created in ThoughtSpot upon login.
After adding the app integration, copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the Sign On tab.
In the OpenID Provider Metadata section and copy the Issuer value. This value is typically a domain URL that ends in either okta.com or oktapreview.com.
