Application Usage report

The Application Usage report contains data about who has signed in to an app integration during a specified time period.

This report can be run for all app integrations in your Okta environment or for specific app integrations.

Before you begin

Ensure that you're signed in as an admin with permission to run reports.

Run the report

Okta retains events for 90 days, so the earliest available date range for the report is three months prior.

  1. In the Admin Console, go to ReportsReports.

  2. Select Application Usage. The Application Usage page opens.
  3. Select your From, To, Application, User, and Group report parameters.
  4. If you set the Application field to All (for all users and groups), you can only filter the results by group and the report is only available as a CSV download.

  5. Click Request report. Okta emails you the report and a CSV file downloads to your computer.

Results

The report includes the following information:

Field name Field description
Person The user's name in Okta
Login The user's Okta sign-in credentials
Application username The user's name in the app integration
Logins Number of times the user has signed in. Included only when a specific app integration is selected.
Instance name

The name of the app integration. Included only when All (for all users and groups) is selected.

Login Date The last time the user signed in to the specified app integration
Login Date_ISO8601 The last time the user signed in to the specified app integration in ISO 8601 format
