Bind a sudo entitlement to a group

Effective May 1, 2026, Okta will no longer sell or renew Advanced Server Access. Existing customers must migrate to Okta Privileged Access within one year of their next scheduled renewal date to maintain service.

To bind a sudo entitlement to a group:
- Open the Advanced Server Access dashboard from an admin account.
- Click Projects.
- Select the project that contains the group to bind the sudo entitlement to.
- Click the Groups tab.
- Select the group to bind the entitlement to.
- Click Add Sudo Entitlement Binding.
- Select the sudo entitlement to bind to the group from the Sudo Entitlement dropdown.
- Click Submit to bind the sudo entitlement to the group.
